Just before that trip, Matt had Lasik surgery on his eyes. Now he sees better than 20/20. As soon as we got back from Boerne he had ankle surgery to remove scar tissue, bone spurs and tighten the ligaments. He’s had a bunch of ankle injuries (mostly basketball-related) since high school, so it was time to get all that fixed.
Henry is back on the potty-training wagon. Remember, we made a trial run when he was right at 2 years old, then we sold the house, moved, had a baby and then things snowballed with my ulcers, Matt’s eyes and ankle. Anyway, things are calm now and he’s doing great. I read that “Potty-training in One Day” book and had a big potty party for Henry. We had a small set-back last Sunday when the toilet seat came slamming down on his pee-pee. He's fine now and, surprisingly, not at all scared of the toilet.
Jake is 6months old now and has grown so much. Not sure how much he weighs. We’re going to his 6-month wellness visit next week. I got some adorable new pics of our little guy and can’t wait to upload those. They will be ready next week, so check back soon.
I can't find time to print photos, much less scrapbook, so this is my way of documenting life. Here's how my family was built starting with me pregnant with Henry...then came Jake. We also have an English Bulldog named Shackleford. Oh, and here's my other blog: paisleypaperdesigns.blogspot.com
