Happy Half Birthday Henry!
My sweet Henry is now 6 months old. I can't beleive the past few months have gone by so fast. Aunt Melinda came over to shoot some new pics of him. He really is the happiest baby ever --easily amused and laughs out loud randomly.

He LOVES his daddy. I’ve been calling him a daddies’ boy. From what I’ve read, 6-month-olds are supposed to have a deep attachment to mama…hummm. Am I doing something wrong here? I’m the one that feeds him. You’d think that would be enough. Anyway, here are my favorite pics. You can click here to see more >>>

Stats:
I took Henry in for his 6 month check-up and shots on Monday. Dr. Curtis says he’s very healthy and still SO BIG. Now his height is catching up to his weight.

Height: 27 ¾ (95%)
Weight: 22 lbs. 13oz. (97%)

Henry has discovered his toes and loves grabbing his feet. And he sits up all by himself now. He hasn’t started scooting around yet. Really he doesn’t like being on his belly much. He prefers standing, with help from mom of course.

Matt asked me last week if I miss my job. I told him I honestly have not once thought I’d rather be at work. I absolutely adore being home with Henry and spending every second of every day watching him grow. He is so much fun!

Flood update:
We're SO happy that our house was spared, but we did have to pay $700 on Matt's car. Our neighbors weren't so lucky. Our nextdoor neighbors have moved into an apartment for at least two months. They are ripping out the floors, replacing the kitchen cabinets and the sheetrock. The neighbors beside them are also having to rip out and replace their hardwoods. Those two houses are both new construction homes, which means they are 2 to 3 feet lower than our pier and beam house.
