Quick pics --
I wanted to post a few cute pics of Henry. He know knows how to climb up on all the furniture. Lots of fun!

Taylor comes over to play about once a week. They are really cute together and are good at sharing.

It's been a little cold the last few weeks. It even iced a couple weeks ago. Henry loved eating the snow. He even says "ice" now.

I had to call 911 again. That's twice in a month. This time for a fire in the attic. Here's an email from Matt explaining whole episode.

Hi Family,
Well I am working out of town in Austin, TX and yesterday evening I received a call from Jennifer. Apparently, she smelled fire in the attic, ran upstairs where Henry was sleeping, opened the attic door and flames were shooting out of the furnace. She got Henry, called 911, turned off the heater then ran to our neighbor Fred’s house who came over and shut off the gas line. We had fire trucks at the house in 2 minutes (we live about a mile from a station). The firemen said she was very lucky and it turns out if unchecked, the house could have gone up in flames (if it happened at night, no telling what would have happened—especially since we have a wood framed house).

Today, I got Jennifer in touch with my one of my staff member’s parents who happen to own a HVAC company. The workers came over at 11am and fixed the problem pretty quick for like $300. The workers also echoed how lucky Jennifer and Henry were.

It is nice to know that luck, fate, God, or whatever combination of the three smiled on Jen and Henry yesterday and #1. She was home to smell out the problem (she was out and about most of the day) #2. Fred was home to help. #3. It didn’t happen during the night.

Anyway another dramatic read coming your way in Henry’s blog. By the way, we believe that some plumbing work we contracted out a couple days ago caused the problem (moved gas water heater upstairs in attic from kitchen…plumbers tapped into furnace gas line—we think a leak occurred at the new joint).

Talk to you all soon.
Matt

BTW - the plumbers are paying our HVAC bill.
