Happy Half Birthday Henry!
Henry is 18 months old today and he’s changed SO much in the past two months! He knows so many words and signs – we’re teaching him sign language. They say babies listen and understand a lot more than they can verbalize, so sign language is a way to help your baby "talk" before they can actually say the words.

Henry loves this video called Baby Signing Time. His asthma flared up again this spring, so Henry has to sit in front of the TV with the breathing mask on for 15 minutes every 3 or 4 hours. I’ve tried other videos – Baby Einstein, Blues Clues, Veggie Tales. Nope, Henry only stays put if Baby Signing is on.

(See, he doesn't mind the mask or my manicure.)

Other news:
Henry finally got to meet his Uncle Rich and Aunt Katja.
Daddy’s in the middle of busy season, so it’s always a treat to see him before bedtime. Everyone says Henry looks just like his dad. What do you think?

We went to zoo with Gramme and Tay-Tay. They can both make the elephant sound.

We go to the Dallas Arboretum about once a week with best friend Max. Today we had playgroup there.
Side note – Shack is still the rock star. In fact, when we walk to dinner Matt asks, “Through the neighborhood or rock star route?” The rock star route is strolling with Shack in front of all the Bars and Restaurants. Everyone sitting on the patios point, nudge their date, and stare at Shack. In just that one short block we usually get like 5 people stopping us to ask about Shack. He loves the attention!
