In case you haven’t heard, I’m retired. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006 was my last day at Click Here. I would have given a full two-we
ek notice but Juliana, Bob, Melicent and Great Grandma Hughs came into town for Henry’s baptism. Okay, I'm not officially retired. I'm working freelance for Click Here as long as Dick allows it. I also still sell Mary Kay and I'm working on building a birth announcement business. I got my first order this week!Back to the baptism...We picked my brother Mike and Matt's sister Juliana, to be Henry’s godparents. Baptism is the first sacrament which accomplishes the remission of sin, both original sin and actual sin—only original sin in the case of babies, since they are incapable of actual sin. Peter 3:21: "Baptism . . . now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
Henry was baptized by Deacon Rick at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with 7 other babies. Juliana brought the dress, I mean “gown”, Matt wore when he was baptized. And I bought Henry a rosary. Matt’s friend said Henry looked like a fat, bald Pope. I think he looked VERY handsome. You decide -- click here to see all the baptism pics >>
Henry is 3 and half months and just over 17 lbs. He's in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. We call him our little “Chunky Monkey”.

He can sit up for about 5 seconds then he falls over. He has rolled over only once by himself. I think it will only be a week or so before he masters both.
My fabulous in-home photographer, Melinda, took these darling photos. These are a few of my favorites. Click here to see more >>
